Farewell To One Of The Very Best, My Friend Clarkie

I met Jason Clark through numerous friends, fraternity brothers and wrestlers. Funny thing is, by the time it was all said and done, we had all dropped the monikers, we were all just friends.

Jason, or Clarkie as I called him most often and I made a quck bond as we're both very ornery and
obnoxious fellas that like to have a good time and entertain others. We took great pride in that.

I was the smart ass who actually nicknamed Clarkie blue tooth and it stuck.

In case you wondered, one of his teeth must have lost discoloration or had root damage but that's just how we roll, silliness.

Clarkie can't take credit for nicknaming me big head or fat head but he liked to use it when the Blue Tooth vs. Big Head feuds and jokes erupted for all the giddy masses on almost a nightly basis. The people loved hearing us go at it with this silliness so we obliged. It was fun and all that but in the end, it was what it was, just jokes.

People nowadays need to understand and appreciate jokes and they sure as shit need to get some thicker skin. I loved Clarkie and he loved me. We had a great bond and always will.

We shared lots of beers, laughs, sports and good times. He'd belt out his odd goat-like noise and I'd do one of my loud and obnoxious duck calls.

Why? Well come on folks, we did it for you to see your faces, questions and laughs.
I won't forget the speical times we had during our summer school sessions where our group bonded even closer, in fact, I'll cherish that forever.

I've always been looked to for the right words or to say something to make everyone feel better.

Well, I don't have them for you, just prayers, love and my most deepest sympathies to Andrea Aj Zottola Clark, Joseph D. Clark, Cory Clark, Shawn Hudson, Dave Klepfer and the rest of their families and friends.

Clarkie was one of the good guys and it was always refreshing to know that he had my back and vice versa.

It broke my heart in pieces when I got the call last Saturday morning but we'll all keep on living for you, my friend, I promise you that.

I miss you my man, and I always will.

Missing you now and forever. Rest in peace my friend, you'll never, ever be far from our hearts.

Your friend,

Kraig A. Koelsch

p.s. Now, find out if God can get that blue tooth thing fixed for you already.
